Requirements

• 5+ years in mechanical design, applications engineering, or designer/drafter role with portfolio of deployed designs
• Proficiency producing detailed drawings and BOMs in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent)
• Practical experience integrating off-the-shelf hardware into assemblies - scanners, sensors, actuators, mounting systems
• Familiarity with fabrication methods: sheet metal, machining, weldments, 3D printing and cost/lead-time tradeoffs
• Hands-on capability to assemble fixtures, troubleshoot fit issues, and work alongside field technicians
• Comfort operating in ambiguity with incomplete data and evolving requirements
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for site surveys, deployment support, and commissioning
