Requirements

• 10+ years of practical experience calibrating complex robotic or sensor-rich systems in real production environments
• Track record of designing and delivering calibration systems end to end, including algorithms, fixtures, on-fixture software, validation, and operator workflow
• Deep expertise across multiple sensor modalities (RGB cameras, LiDAR, thermal imagers, IMUs, encoders, etc), with working command of kinematic calibration and the coupling of sensor extrinsics to kinematics
• Demonstrated understanding of what production calibration requires: repeatability, data collection, simplicity, and throughput
• Experience building the data and metrics infrastructure that supports calibration at scale
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Player-coach orientation: capable of executing the technical work directly, while also identifying and developing the talent that contributes to it
• Effective collaboration across multiple stakeholders, including hardware, controls, perception, sensor vendors, and contract manufacturers
