Ideal candidate

Experienced copywriter with agency or top consumer-brand background who thrives in ambiguity and speed. Passionate about translating complex technical missions into bold, human stories with grit and point of view.

Requirements

• 5+ years of copywriting experience at a top-tier agency and/or in-house at a recognized consumer brand
• Expansive portfolio showing work for major brands, ideally in technical, hard tech, aerospace or engineering
• Ability to translate sophisticated technical subject matter into human, impactful copy
• Range across social, long-form, film, OOH, web and product naming
• Proven ability to bring strategic clarity to ambiguity and frame undefined problems
• Self-starter who identifies what needs writing and takes initiative
• Comfort working at speed with engineers, designers and executives and taking hard feedback
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
• Experience writing for defense, aerospace, robotics, semiconductors or other high-consequence technical category
• Background spanning consumer brand building and technical writing
• Experience building and enforcing voice/messaging system in fast-growing organization
• Product naming experience including naming architecture for multi-product portfolio
