Metrology Lab Specialist

Ideal candidate

Detail-oriented measurement expert with 5+ years hands-on metrology experience who loves solving tricky inspection puzzles, improving lab accuracy, and mentoring others to uphold quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of metrology experience, including programming CMMs.
• Hands-on experience with at least three different types of metrology equipment (CNC CMM, portable CMM, laser tracker, large-volume or automated 3D scanners, optical comparator, etc.).
• Proficiency with CMM software; Calypso or Polyworks preferred (PC-DMIS, Verisurf, MCosmos, or equivalent acceptable).
• Excellent understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience designing and building holding fixtures for CMMs.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, height gauges, and other hand tools).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
