Pipe Fitter/Welder

Highlights

• Fabricate piping systems for maritime structures operating submerged under pressure.

A precision-driven tradesperson with deep shipbuilding experience who takes pride in flawless, high-pressure piping built to last decades under the sea.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of pipefitting, welding or related mechanical trade experience
• Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs and weld procedure specifications
• Proficiency in GTAW (TIG) welding on pipe in multiple positions
• Experience with tight-tolerance fit-up of welded and brazed joints
• Ability to pass weld qualification testing
• Willing to work any shift, overtime in shop and field environments
• U.S. Person status required for ITAR compliance
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in confined spaces
