Requirements

• Track record authoring technical accounting memos on complex, judgment-intensive revenue arrangements
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 including performance obligations, SSP, contract modifications, payable to customer, principal vs agent, material rights, variable consideration
• Ability to articulate complex accounting positions and proactively research emerging revenue issues
• Hands-on experience with revenue recognition tools (e.g., Workday Financial Management, Zuora RevPro)
• SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing large revenue and contract datasets
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional workstreams across Deal Desk, Product, and Partnership teams
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• 14+ years progressive accounting experience with ASC 606 expertise, including 4+ years in technical revenue leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
• Big 4 technical accounting / national office background combined with industry experience
• Experience with cloud marketplace, reseller, or channel partnership revenue arrangements
• Experience with consumption-based and subscription-based revenue models
