Hands-on energy markets operator who thrives owning physical scheduling risk end-to-end and coordinating across operations, finance and legal. A zero-to-one builder excited to stand up Anthropic's energy portfolio function.

Requirements

• 8+ years in energy markets, power scheduling, energy procurement, or utility / retail energy operations, including scheduling and settlement review in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO or another ISO/RTO
• Worked at or directly with an LSE, QSE, scheduling coordinator, retail energy provider, or load-management desk
• Can operate ESA, PPA and utility large-load interconnection and service agreement scheduling, availability, curtailment and pricing terms
• Can predict curtailment for large load and navigate shortage pricing and reliability events from experience
• Understand gas scheduling - nominations, hub pricing, pipeline constraints - and gas-fired plant outages
• Have designed or operated load flexibility - curtailment, demand response, non-firm or flexible interconnection
• Have built or run energy consumption and cost forecasts for large loads tied to contract terms and market prices
• Have stood up a scheduling, portfolio, or operations function from scratch
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, energy, finance, data science or equivalent experience
