Requirements
- Significant experience managing engineering teams through rapid change
- Direct experience building or operating search systems at scale
- Technical depth to review designs, read code and engage senior ICs
- Product mindset and comfort making product calls without a PM
- Track record running high-scale, latency-sensitive production systems
- Strong cross-functional skills across product, research and infrastructure
- Experience recruiting and closing senior engineers
- Interest in AI safety and Anthropic's mission
