A hands-on systems thinker with years owning complex hardware from prototype to ramp who thrives on factory floors and cross-functional ownership to make first-of-kind infrastructure reliable at scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of engineering experience in power electronics, electrical equipment, or industrial energy systems, with at least 4 years in NPI, product development, or product engineering owning product from prototype through production ramp
  • Direct, hands-on experience with at least two of: BESS, utility- or data-center-scale inverters, medium-voltage transformers or switchgear, UPS, STATCOM/power-quality equipment, or liquid cooling systems
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards and qualification application: UL 9540/9540A, UL 1741 and IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, IEC 62477/IEC 62909, IEEE C37 and C57 series, NFPA 70/855, UL 1778

  • Familiarity with supplier factory environments — production lines, test bays, quality systems — and ability to assess readiness to ship at rate
  • Fluency in design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test principles and supplier ECO/change-control process
  • Strong systems thinking about how inverter, battery, transformer, and cooling loop behave together at a site
  • Clear written and verbal communication and comfort driving decisions across engineering, supply chain, and executive audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or power engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% to supplier factories and data center sites, including internationally
