Requirements

• Experience leading, hiring, and developing high-performing technical teams in customer-facing environments
• Hands-on technical credibility to review designs, debug production issues, and act as final escalation point
• Strong background in data engineering, big data systems, and production data platform delivery
• Experience across modern data workloads including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, warehousing and streaming
• Hands-on fluency in Python and SQL; familiarity with Spark and Scala/Java is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Fluent Japanese required and business-level English required
• Ability to scope complex engagements, manage escalations, and ensure delivery across stakeholders
