Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years professional software development experience
• Deep understanding of JVM internals including GC, JIT, class loading and memory model
• Proficiency in a JVM language and its runtime environment
• Strong programming in Scala, Java, Rust or other systems-level languages
• Extensive experience with OS concepts including processes, threads, concurrency, scheduling and I/O
• Proven track record building high-performance, scalable, reliable systems
• Experience with distributed systems concepts and technologies
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with performance profiling and tuning tools
• Experience with RPC frameworks
