Customer-obsessed pre-sales veteran with deep OLTP credibility who thrives partnering with sales to drive adoption and shape product direction from field insight. Fluent in Japanese and energized by complex, mission-critical customer challenges.

Requirements

• 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product, administration and pre-sales
• Experience architecting solutions integrating transactional systems with Big Data, Lakehouse and AI ecosystems
• Infrastructure expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup, scale-out, security and migrations
• 6+ years in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting influencing technical executives
• Proven ability to co-plan territories with Account Executives cross-functionally
• Experience collaborating with GSIs and third-party consulting organizations
• Proficient in programming, debugging and problem-solving using SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure or GCP
• Broad experience in two or more of data engineering, warehousing, AI, ML, governance, streaming and app development
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or similar
• Track record driving complex projects in fast-paced customer-facing environments
• Fluent in Japanese with professional working proficiency in English
