A hands-on optical systems builder with years scaling dense compute interconnects to production. You love debugging across hardware boundaries and care deeply about powering frontier AI inference.
Requirements
- 5-10 years designing optical interconnects or photonic systems for high-density compute
- Strong fundamentals in optical link engineering including link budgets and BER/FEC margining
- Working knowledge of lasers, modulators, TIAs, DSPs/retimers and 100G/200G PAM4 interfaces
- Familiarity with OSFP/QSFP-DD pluggables and advanced CPO/NPO/OCI/LPO architectures
- Experience with photonic-electronic co-design and advanced packaging with fiber attach
- Proven track record bringing up optical links and PIC subsystems with foundries and OSATs
- Understanding of liquid-cooled AI servers and cluster-scale optical fabrics
