Requirements

• 15+ years of backend engineering experience building and operating production web applications or SaaS products
• Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products and shipping highly intuitive products with strong attention to detail
• Strong programming skills in Python with a modern web framework such as FastAPI or Flask
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Postgres
• Solid understanding of API design, authentication/authorization, background job patterns and robust error handling
• Experience building for cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Comfort operating services in production with logs, metrics, dashboards and alerts, including on-call rotation
