Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in chemistry with focus on synthetic organic chemistry
- 15+ years (BS), 12+ years (MS) or 8+ years (PhD) in small-molecule drug discovery in biotech/pharma
- Proven track record advancing programs from leads to advanced candidates
- Extensive experience optimizing leads for potency, selectivity, ADME and PK
- Expert in modern synthetic organic chemistry with publications and patents
- Practical experience with targeted protein degradation including molecular glues and PROTACs
- Experience designing with computational chemists and integrating multidisciplinary R&D plans
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management and leadership skills
