Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems
• Depth in at least one general-purpose language with strong concurrency, error handling and testing
• Experience designing, building and operating backend services and distributed systems at scale
• Understanding of system design, data models, APIs, failure modes and performance tradeoffs
• Track record owning complex work through testing, rollout, monitoring and incident response
• Proven ability to align cross-functional partners and build consensus on tradeoffs
