Requirements
- 8+ years backend engineering experience, including 3+ years at Senior level or above
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, service architecture, data modeling, and API design at scale
- Track record owning architecture across multiple teams or an entire organization
- Experience leading large, complex production migrations
- Drive alignment through technical judgment and clear writing
- Fluent with modern AI dev tools like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and raising the technical bar
- Excellent communication on complex tradeoffs to engineers and leadership
- High ownership, pragmatism, and bias toward shipping
