Requirements

• Production backend experience with strong opinions about what ages well
• Sharp instincts for system design, service boundaries, and where to put complexity
• Fluency with distributed systems toolkit: async workflows, queues, idempotency, retries, long-running jobs
• Ability to turn ambiguous product, operational, and ML constraints into clean, debuggable systems
• Comfort working in Python on AWS with Postgres; Temporal or similar workflow engines a plus
