Requirements

• 8+ years professional backend engineering experience building and operating production systems
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency
• Hands-on API design experience with versioning, contracts, and backward compatibility
• Solid relational database skills including modeling, indexing, query performance, and safe migrations
• Deep hands-on expertise in distributed systems and designing for partial failure
• Experience with data orchestration and workflow management systems
• Experience running services in production with containers, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Comfort with ambiguity and taking loosely defined problems to a plan
• Clear written and verbal communication
• High ownership, pragmatism, and bias toward shipping
