Requirements

• Proven experience drafting patents in complex software/AI domains with understanding of US and European AI patent eligibility
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or other GenAI technologies and ability to articulate model architectures or training methods
• Experience selecting, managing and optimizing external patent firms for high-quality prosecution
• Ability to engage researchers and engineers and explain IP concepts to non-legal audiences
• Self-driven and resourceful with talent for anticipating needs and documenting processes
• Business acumen on how patents drive value for a scale-up plus familiarity with open-source licenses
• Fluent English for legal and technical writing
