Requirements

• 7+ years writing high-quality production code
• 3+ years direct people management leading engineers through planning, growth and performance
• Experience building high-performance distributed storage or caching systems at large scale
• Deep familiarity with object storage, CDNs and their consistency, throughput and cost characteristics
• Strong knowledge of low-level OS foundations including Linux kernel, filesystems, page cache and containers
• Experience with replication, content addressing and consistency models in multi-region or multi-cloud systems
• Experience operating petabyte-scale storage including high-throughput paths, garbage collection, cost and capacity planning
• Track record setting technical direction and building primitives other teams depend on
• Willingness to join on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
