Ideal candidate

A self-driven controls expert with deep vehicle dynamics intuition who loves solving real-world autonomy challenges and collaborating across hardware and autonomy teams to ship safe, precise motion on real vehicles.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, aerospace, robotics or related field
• 5+ years industry experience, including 3+ years developing and deploying L2+ automated driving controls at scale
• Deep knowledge of vehicle dynamics, controls theory, strategy development and testing
• Implementation experience with classical and modern controls methods and/or ML for controls
• Strong embedded C or C++ programming skills
• Strong foundation in math and physics with analytical skills
• Comfortable with GenAI-assisted engineering workflows
• Proven ability to collaborate within and across teams
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with drive, accountability and adaptability
