Requirements

• Deep experience building and shipping high-quality Android software used by real customers
• Strong knowledge of Android platform beyond UI including framework APIs, system services, IPC, permissions and background execution
• Highly proficient in Kotlin and/or Java and comfortable working across a large Android codebase
• Experience with AOSP, Android framework internals, system applications, privileged APIs or OEM integrations
• Experience integrating software with hardware and device capabilities and debugging across app, OS and device boundaries
• Understand Android ecosystem realities including OS versions, OEM customizations, power management and fragmentation
• Thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing 0-to-1 environments with strong ownership from exploration to production
