Requirements

• 9+ years of professional engineering experience, excluding internships, in backend, platform, or product engineering roles
• Track record of hands-on technical leadership, including setting architecture and guiding engineers through delivery
• Deep backend engineering and systems design skills, with proficiency in at least one backend programming language
• End-to-end ownership of complex systems from ambiguous requirements through launch and production iteration
• Strong production engineering judgment across performance, scalability, testing, and observability
• Strong product judgment balancing delivery speed, reliability, security, and maintainability
• Ability to move across backend and product stack and quickly learn unfamiliar systems and domains
• Clear technical communication and effective cross-disciplinary collaboration while remaining hands-on
