Requirements

• J.D. from accredited law school or LL.M. or equivalent and authorized to practice law in U.S. state of residence
• At least five years relevant experience at law firm, government agency, or in-house with consumer protection or product counseling
• Strong command of U.S. consumer protection law including Section 5 of FTC Act and state UDAP laws
• Experience with subscriptions/auto-renewal, advertising, privacy, payments, promotions, platform regulation, or AI governance
• Ability to lead product or regulatory matters independently from fact development through execution
• Clear writing and ability to translate legal requirements for product, engineering, and business teams
• Comfort learning technical systems, data flows, and controls and exercising excellent judgment in ambiguity
