Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years as an engineering manager
• Experience managing, hiring, growing and retaining high-caliber engineering talent
• Proficiency in Python (bonus for Go and/or Rust)
• Strong understanding of high-traffic API design: versioning, idempotency, authentication, rate limiting and performance tuning
• Experience with modern AI APIs including latency tuning, streaming and model orchestration is a plus
• Strong customer empathy and product sense for ergonomic, well-documented APIs
• Strong organizational skills managing parallel projects and prioritization tradeoffs
• Entrepreneurial attitude; able and eager to run more than just engineering
