Highlights

  • Serve robot policies under strict latency budgets wired into real robots.
  • Build the integration layer wiring Reactor’s platform into real robot stacks.
  • Use world models for policy evaluation tuned for throughput and fidelity.

What they offer

  • Competitive SF salary and meaningful early equity
  • Visa sponsorship and relocation support
  • Generous health, dental, and vision coverage

Ideal candidate

Generalist who lives across ML, systems and hardware and would rather fix the robot than stay in one layer. You lead with judgment, thrive in early-stage chaos, and care about real-time intelligence reaching the physical world.

Requirements

  • Experience running learned policies or ML models on real robots or autonomous systems
  • Strong ML understanding of robot policies (VLAs, imitation learning, RL) and world models at inference time
  • Depth in inference systems: batching, scheduling, GPU utilization, p99 latency vs throughput for real-time use
  • Strong production C++ and Python, comfortable in performance-critical code
  • Working experience with ROS/ROS2, DDS and robot middleware including transport QoS
  • Breadth across ML, systems, cloud infra, networking and robotics with hands-on debugging
  • Judgment to lead, set technical direction and represent Reactor with customers
