Requirements

• 5-10 years building production backend systems with deep expertise in Python and FastAPI (or Golang)
• Track record of end-to-end system ownership, trade-offs, and operating in production
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration at scale, ideally Temporal
• Built and operated high-scale multi-tenant distributed systems with low latency and resilience
• Strong PostgreSQL and Redis fundamentals including schema design, query performance and caching
• Judgment to know when to build vs buy, optimize vs ship, and abstract vs inline
