Requirements

• Demonstrable experience guiding and mentoring ML engineers
• Adept at prioritizing work by impact, feasibility and time-to-value with clear success metrics
• Strong understanding of modern ML stack including transformer architectures, GQA and KV-caching
• Expertise in distributed training techniques
• Familiarity with model inference optimisation including dynamic batching, flash attention and speculative decoding
• Proven track record developing and deploying models at scale
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch and cloud platforms
• Strong familiarity with software engineering practices and ML testing frameworks
