Curious and collaborative engineer who has shepherded vehicle structures from concept through launch and enjoys balancing cost, design and supplier tradeoffs to advance autonomous mobility.

Requirements

• Worked at vehicle manufacturer or tier-one supplier in product development or engineering
• In-depth knowledge of tooling strategies for body structure components
• Launched multiple cars through production ramp and launch problem solving
• Experience with supplier DFM during tooling launches
• Experience using benchmark / competitor vehicles to drive discussions
• Understanding of vehicle body assembly strategies and sequencing
• Minimum 6 years experience in body structure development
• Experience creating production-ready 3D and 2D CAD, ideally Catia V5 or V6
