Requirements

• 5-7 years of public policy experience in government, nonprofit, company, lobbying firm or industry association
• Reside in Southwest / Texas / Austin with ability to frequently travel to capitols and Southwest cities
• Well-developed network with key figures across Southwest legislative and policy landscape
• Experience persuasively and diplomatically advocating complex policy positions
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with exceptional verbal and written communication
• Hands-on legislative and regulatory analysis experience including drafting and editing legislation
