Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering-management experience with hiring, performance management, coaching and career development
• 8+ years building or operating complex production software with depth in SRE, production/platform engineering, embedded systems or related field
• Built or substantially reshaped an engineering team, setting technical direction and aligning partners to deliver measurable results
• Still writes production-quality code, designs systems and leads substantive code reviews
• Strong technical judgment across Linux and distributed systems
• Applied SLOs, error budgets, observability, incident management and release-safety practices to deliver measurable improvements
• Builds inclusive team culture with clear accountability, thoughtful feedback and blameless learning from incidents
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
